About Muscadine

What Muscadine is

Muscadine is a manually tended public guidebook that helps people discover local businesses through community information, recommendations, and relationships. It grows carefully rather than publishing automatically.

Manual tending includes submission handling, review of public information, moderation, and publication decisions. It does not mean Muscadine has professionally evaluated every business, checked every license or insurance policy, inspected work quality, or certified that a business is suitable for a particular job.

Muscadine is not a generic ratings platform, an anonymous review site, a pay-to-play directory, a ranking system, a Realtor lead funnel disguised as community, or a promise about vendor performance. It shares transparent community signals without turning them into broad trust conclusions.

How the guidebook grows

Businesses may come to Muscadine’s attention through submissions from community members or businesses, editorial research, the founder’s personal experience, gaps noticed while developing Cork on a String, or other legitimate local observations.

Discovery begins review; it is not acceptance and does not ensure publication. Public vendor profiles are not labeled or treated differently based on how a business was discovered. Discovery does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, payment, compensation, preference, or personal gain.

The Vinedresser

Chris Casper founded and tends Muscadine as its curator. He is also a licensed Georgia Realtor, and the Vinedresser page explains how that work remains separate from Muscadine.

Vendor Discovery Neutrality

How Muscadine discovers a business does not affect its evaluation, review, acceptance or rejection, placement, presentation, prominence, ranking, or description. Every discovery path begins the same manual consideration.

Discovery is not endorsement, sponsorship, paid placement, compensation, personal gain, preferential treatment, a promise about performance, or a recommendation beyond the transparent public information shown.

Cork on a String may reveal a missing guidebook category or local need. It does not decide which business is accepted, favored, ranked, or promoted.

Inclusion is not endorsement

A business appearing in Muscadine does not mean that Muscadine, Chris Casper, or Red 1 Realty LLC endorses that business or promises how it will perform.

Community Recommendations reflect the contributing community member's own statement and remain separate from Muscadine, founder, or brokerage endorsement.

Inclusion does not establish that a business is approved, certified, licensed, insured, available, suitable for every job, or certain to perform in a particular way.

User responsibility

Before hiring a business, users remain responsible for independently evaluating what the specific job requires, including:
