Using the guidebook

1. Informational guidebook

Muscadine is an informational hyperlocal small-business guidebook, community recommendation network, and manually tended public resource. It is not a licensing authority, insurance verifier, certification body, professional inspection service, guarantee of quality, or ratings or ranking authority.

2. Inclusion is not endorsement

Inclusion is not endorsement, certification, licensing or insurance verification, a guarantee, sponsorship, paid placement, or a statement that a business is suitable for every person, project, or job. Community signals describe observable activity; they are not Muscadine trust conclusions.

3. Independent evaluation

You remain responsible for independently evaluating licensing, insurance, pricing, availability, references, contracts, scope of work, permits, suitability, and expected performance. Muscadine has not necessarily checked these matters.

4. Information changes

Business information can become outdated. Phone numbers, links, services, service areas, availability, and pricing may change. Muscadine may correct or remove public information and does not guarantee continuous accuracy or completeness. Verify important information directly with the business.

5. Publication and moderation

Muscadine may review submissions, decline or delay publication, correct or format public-safe business information, and moderate community contributions under the contribution rules below. Muscadine does not normally rewrite the substantive wording of a contributor's community contribution. A discovery source does not create preference, paid placement, or different evaluation standards.

6. Relationships

Browsing, discovering, or contacting a business through Muscadine does not by itself create a contract, agency relationship, or vendor-client relationship with Muscadine, or guarantee that a business will accept work.

7. Realtor separation

Chris Casper is a licensed Georgia Realtor affiliated with Red 1 Realty LLC. Muscadine operates separately from Realtor lead-generation activity. Vendor inclusion does not create a real-estate relationship, and vendor treatment is not based on real-estate lead potential.

8. Send One In acceptable use

Submitters should provide information they reasonably believe is accurate; avoid knowingly false or misleading submissions, unnecessary private or sensitive information, impersonation, and abusive, unlawful, or malicious content; and understand that submission does not guarantee publication.

9. Community contributions

Community contributions are not anonymous. When recommending an existing business, contribute under your own identity and provide your full name and email address. A contribution should reflect your genuine local knowledge, experience, or interaction with the identified business. Do not submit on behalf of another person, repeatedly submit the same contribution, impersonate someone else, or include unnecessary sensitive information. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, publication, public attribution, or any particular moderation outcome.

Muscadine reviews contribution legitimacy separately from contribution classification. Moderation may consider authenticity, relevance, duplication, spam, manipulation, impersonation, privacy, abusive or threatening material, and other applicable platform, safety, legal, or compliance concerns. A contribution is not accepted or rejected merely because it is favorable or critical.

A legitimate affirmative contribution may be accepted as a Recommendation. Legitimate non-affirmative input may be classified and retained privately as Community Feedback. Invalid contributions may be rejected. Muscadine may also reclassify a legitimate contribution when its classification does not match what the contributor actually communicated, process governed withdrawals, or withhold public display when required by applicable governance. Contributor wording is preserved as submitted and is not normally rewritten during moderation.

Accepted Recommendations may be publicly attributed using the contributor's first name and last initial, such as “Chris C.” Full surname, email address, written context, moderation history, and operator notes remain private under the current contribution system. Recommendation wording is not currently published. Community Feedback remains private and does not increase public Recommendation evidence.

A Recommendation is a community member's contribution. It is not a Muscadine rating, certification, endorsement, guarantee, or determination that a business is appropriate for a particular person or job. Recommendations do not guarantee quality, suitability, licensing, insurance, availability, pricing, performance, or outcome. Users remain responsible for evaluating businesses for themselves.

Recommendation and Community Feedback activity do not control search order, Browse order, category order, geographic discovery or Radius results, New This Week, Recently Added, homepage discovery order, vendor prominence, ranking, trust scoring, popularity scoring, quality scoring, or paid placement.

10. Contributor withdrawal and private records

A contributor may request withdrawal of a public-facing contribution by emailing muscadineguide@gmail.com. Once a valid withdrawal request is processed, the contribution stops qualifying for public display and an affirmative Recommendation stops contributing to public Recommendation count and attribution.

Withdrawal from public display does not necessarily mean immediate deletion of all private records. Under Muscadine's contribution-retention governance, covered contribution records may generally remain private while the related vendor profile remains active and for up to three years after the later applicable retention event, such as vendor-profile removal, contribution rejection, contribution withdrawal, or another governed terminal event. Records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for a documented legal obligation, active dispute, security or abuse concern, fraud-prevention purpose, preservation requirement, or comparable legitimate operational need. The three-year period is Muscadine's governance standard, not a universal legal requirement, and it is not a promise of automatic deletion on an exact date.
